About us
At Fairway Creek Retrievers, we are committed to breeding exceptional puppies of sound health and kind temperaments. We teach our puppies from day 3 to learn which lays the foundation for easy training. We are a small ethical and reputable breeding kennel where the puppies are born and raised in the family home. Our dogs all live in our house and enjoy their daily life on our property near the Hunter Valley NSW.
Our focus is on breeding puppies who are placed in forever homes. Whether as working dogs, medical or assistance dogs, loyal companions, or much-loved family pets, each puppy is carefully raised and selected for their future owners with their future in mind.
We place a strong emphasis on early training, exposure and development, helping young minds grow, adapt, and learn from the very beginning. By nurturing confidence, curiosity, and engagement at an early age, our puppies develop a natural desire to learn and a willingness to please.
This early foundation allows our dogs to grow into well-mannered, adaptable companions who are comfortable in a variety of environments, as well as highly trainable working dogs for those who require them.
Litter updates
Very excited to announce a confirmed pregnancy with our lovely Sif (Fairway Creek Nova Night) and Banks (Aurumine King of Davistown. This litter is due 22nd July for take home puppies around 16th September. All puppies are accounted for with families who have been waiting on our website.
Missy x Tex have been mated, and we will do a confirmation Ultra Sound on the 10th July. Once again, this litter will be going to families who have been on our waitlist and have been very patient.
We are expecting our Labrador Lucy (Fairway Creek Lucy on the Loose) to go on heat shortly and will post updates on our socials pages. All puppies from these litters will be homed from our waitlist. Please contact me for further enquiries.
4 new babies joining us for our breeding program - Indi, Macie, Quinn and Margot
From our most recent Golden Retriever litter, we chose to keep a promising female to join our breeding program. This litter displayed beautiful, calm temperaments and resilience, reflecting the exceptional temperament, conformation, and health of both parents.
Fairway Creek Shades of Indigo (Indi) will be shown in conformation as she matures, and we look forward to watching her development both in the ring and as part of our future breeding plans.

Tapua Dont Doubt Scout and Tapua Quintessential Moment
We are delighted to welcome 3 gorgeous Labrador puppies Macie, Quinn and Margot to our kennel. Macie and Quinn sisters from a long-awaited pairing between Tapua Waltzing Matilda and Aust Ch Aralyen Surfs Up From TampaBay. Margot Sired by Tapua The Phantom out of Tapua Rivers Run Deep.
These puppies come from a long line of Assistance dogs and will become an important part of our Labrador breeding program. We look forward to their future contribution in producing Labrador Retrievers suited to Assistance and Therapy roles, as well as loyal family companions in the years to come. We have paired with Dog Behaviour Specialist Sarah Lufe who will be working along side Fairway Creek Retrievers with these dogs.

Our Puppies in Working Roles
Most recently, we are very proud that five puppies from our most recent Sif x Tex litter have gone on to therapy and support roles. Hopefuls to be working within psychology and medical environments, as well as providing valued companionship within their families. We look forward to receiving updates on their progress and celebrating their achievements in these important roles.
We have puppies from previous litters who have become medical companions, as well as a puppy currently working toward RTAG titles.
We also have a number of dogs and their families enjoying scent detection work, building connection, confidence, and strong working partnerships together.
We have our puppies supporting war veterans and making an incredible impact on their lives. Many of our puppies have joined families with neurodivergent family members and children with autism. Each puppy has worked alongside local trainers and has had the positive impact on the family that was hoped for and intended. (We are happy to provide training referals.)
We are incredibly proud of all our Fairway Creek puppies and know that the presence in their forever homes changes lives.
