About us

At Fairway Creek Retrievers, we are committed to breeding exceptional puppies of sound health and kind temperaments. We teach our puppies from day 3 to learn which lays the foundation for easy training.    We are a small ethical and reputable breeding kennel where the puppies are born and raised in the family home.  Our dogs all live in our house and enjoy their daily life on our property near the Hunter Valley NSW.

Our focus is on breeding puppies who are placed in forever homes. Whether as working dogs, medical or assistance dogs, loyal companions, or much-loved family pets, each puppy is carefully raised  and selected for their future owners with their future in mind.

We place a strong emphasis on early training, exposure and development, helping young minds grow, adapt, and learn from the very beginning. By nurturing confidence, curiosity, and engagement at an early age, our puppies develop a natural desire to learn and a willingness to please.

This early foundation allows our dogs to grow into well-mannered, adaptable companions who are comfortable in a variety of environments, as well as highly trainable working dogs for those who require them.

From our most recent Golden Retriever litter, we chose to keep a promising female to join our breeding program. This litter displayed beautiful, calm temperaments and resilience, reflecting the exceptional temperament, conformation, and health of both parents.

Fairway Creek Shades of Indigo (Indi) will be shown in conformation as she matures, and we look forward to watching her development both in the ring and as part of our future breeding plans.

We are also very proud that five puppies from this litter have gone on to therapy and support roles, hopefuls to be working within psychology and medical environments, as well as providing valued companionship within their families. We look forward to receiving updates on their progress and celebrating their achievements in these important roles.
